The other half of the
students were independents, sometimes known as GDI's |
|
Although the G... D... Independents were not really
part of the Greek lifestyle, they did constitute about 50% of
the students in the early 60's and were scattered all over Troy,
from the Quad to small apartments and houses. Many filled local
houses, often making them overflow with stereo systems,
telephone networks, pizza boxes and assorted debris. Often these
'brothers' created their own fraternal organizations centered
around their common interests - the webmaster thinks of WRPI as
an example. |
Website: An website showing affinity among independents is sort of
an oxymoron, so there ain't one. |
